The Technology Association of Iowa (TAI) plans to host a town hall forum in December for U.S. presidential candidates to discuss their business and technology platforms.
The event gives candidates a platform to present policies that impact technology and entrepreneurship, and will then take questions from a group of panelists including local tech leaders.
Organizers of the event said Republican candidate Carly Fiorina is confirmed to attend, and others are expected confirm their attendance soon.
“Iowa has a long history of creating technology solutions and investing in the future by supporting entrepreneurship,” TAI President Brian Waller stated in a news release. “TAI members and Iowans are eager to hear from our presidential candidates on the topics of technology and entrepreneurship.”
The event will take place at 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at The Hotel Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids. For more information or to register to attend, visit www.prestechtownhall.org.
